Welcome to the 19th Liquid and Amorphous Metals Conference
Born as a conference on liquid metals in 1966 at Brookhaven, USA, and renewed including the study of amorphous metallic solids since the 1980 edition in Grenoble, France, the LAM conference has been a major reference in the field of liquid and glass science. Held on a three years basis, the last three editions were held in Bonn, Germany, in 2016, Lyon, France, in 2019 and Hiroshima, Japan, in 2022. The 19th edition of the LAM will be hosted by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC-BarcelonaTech) in Barcelona from the 1st to the 5th of September 2025.
The conference will be held at the new campus of the UPC-BarcelonaTech, in an academic environment at the east-end of the Barcelona coast-line.
